Charlie Haywood

Head of Compliance 

Charlie has over 15 years' experience working in Privacy, the majority of that at the UK’s Data Protection Regulator (the Information Commissioner’s Office ‘The ICO’) working across various departments including within Enforcement and Audit, where she built a strong and lasting ethos of ‘doing the right thing with data’ and has championed a culture of privacy throughout her career since, across a wide range of sectors including energy, retail and a global software development company.

At Voicescape she is responsible for all matters relating to Data Protection. This includes implementing processes, procedures, documentation and training as well as oversight of Information Security and is continually improving our company’s compliance whilst ensuring that data is stored and processed fairly and compliantly for our customers.

Charlie enjoys living in the beautiful Peak District where she regularly hikes with her crazy Labrador and Cypriot rescue dog. When she’s not hiking, she enjoys putting the weight back on by trying out new places to eat and watching 80’s movies on the sofa with her family.
