Alicja Kolasinska

Junior Data Scientist

Alicja joined Voicescape after completing her master’s degree in data science at Durham University. As a part of the Insights Services team, she mainly works on the code and machine learning models, which fuel Caseload Manager. Her background in psychology and social sciences helps her to think of the product’s functionality in a more people-oriented way.

“Starting the first job after graduation is always challenging, because it requires to translate theoretical knowledge into practical, sector-specific solutions. Everyone at Voicescape made me feel welcomed, and offered their support and knowledge, which allowed me to be confident and successful in my role. What I enjoy the most, is that through my work, I can make a positive impact.”

After work, Alicja likes to read classical literature, philosophy, and non-fiction. She usually spends her annual leave discovering countries she hasn’t visited yet. She also won’t ever say no to a good punk gig.
